You may have seen the coverage of the Fullagar-Davey expedition on the ABC news last Saturday. In fact the 50^th anniversary party has just returned from Montague having been delayed several days due to an uncrossable bar at Narooma. In the TV piece our president was shown chatting in friendly fashion to a shearwater nestling. Sadly, as so often happens when we see media coverage of events we have witnessed first-hand, I must report that the TV camera did not quite capture the essence of the exchange:
