Several small (5-10 birds) locks of yellow faced honeyeaters flying over my GBS site this morning.  The red-browed finches, after being absent for Summer, have built up into a flock of about 12, dining on weed seeds in our vegie garden. Yesterday morning a mixed flock (in the trees not on the ground) included at least 6 scarlet robins - as far as I could see, all males!
