Yesterday took my g'dau to tidbinbilla and we were
surprised to see a whole bunch of emus almost swimming, definitely doing the 3/4
submerged, fluffing the feathers, splashing etc act that we had witnessed that
morning by magpies in the little pool home here; other people, inc. the desk
asst at the Visitors' centre were amazed too and had not seen such
before.
Also saw a platypus in the major dam in the
Sanctuary area; i think someone else had reported this.
