Hi All,

There is a Grey butcherbird in Duffy this morning, but I've sent him over to Rivett for Tobias in return for the Princess Parrot late last year.  I attempted photos of the GBB but s/he moved on.

As I went out to investigate the butcherbird I heard 2 or 3 Little lorikeets pass overhead, flying fast and high.  I couldn't get onto them visually, so I realise this might be a dubious record but I'm reasonably confident with my bird calls and I don't think this could have been anything else.  Dan is out birding so I couldn't yell for the Brains Trust to come outside and listen (which is usually how things work in our house!).

Cheers,

Beth Mantle
