Buttonquail at Newline?

Further to my query about the (now confirmed - thanks to the several respondents) juvenile peaceful dove, we also saw quite a few platelets up near the top of the hill, close to where we saw the dove.  We walked all through the long grass, but didn't flush any buttonquail. 
 
Has anyone seen any there?  If so, which sort?
