Whilst competing in the orienteering race at Stromlo Forest Park my son flushed a group of buttonquail. The orienteering was on the southern section of the park. Also another orienteer told me she saw a group of white fronted chats in the NW section of the park last week, somewhere close to the Uriarra Rd.
