I would expect it to be a modest suburb, hardly worth building really.
Forde was only Prime Minister for 8 days. As for 'Mulligan', I believe it
comes from the Ngunnawal 'umgilan', which meant 'place of small bird with
red spot on cap'.

This morning, for the first time since the commencement of the chaotic
mess of Forde, I finally failed totally to find the main entrance of
Mullies, though a few weeks ago it was quite straightforward. Every road
which seems to head in the right direction is closed off. Has anyone
found the secret lately?

Finally, running out of time, I gave up and used the Horse Park Drive
entrance. Here at least, subject to the constant roar and beeping of the
adjacent construction site, Milburn was dead right about the difficulty
of seeing anything except Red-capped Robins. Unfortunately they weren't
there either.

It's the only time I've ever left Mullies feeling I'd have been more
relaxed if I'd stayed home. Never mind - the new fence is coming along
very nicely!

Ian

[I could add that, back in the car, I turned on the radio for some
soothing music and instead copped Gilbert and Sullivan, but that would
be to carry on excessively....]
