Hi all, First off, thank you so much to everyone who gave me tips on where to find frogmouths this time of year. We're going out this afternoon in search of them - hope it works out! I also wanted to probe the minds attached to this list-serve about Fan-tailed Cuckoo abundance; I know that they're around, but don't seem particularly common in Canberra. Do any of you all know where there are more abundant populations? I'm trying to figure out if they might be a tractable study species - they certainly don't seem common enough around here to work on. Any thoughts would be welcome! Cheers, Tonya -- Tonya Haff PhD candidate School of Botany and Zoology Australian National University Mobile: 04-3331-2908 Lab: 6125-5651 |
