It was quite birdy along the Road, but nothing particularly special,
no Satin Flycatchers or Treecreepers for example.
We walked from passed the gate at the bootom of Blundells Creek Raod
around the first hairpin, and then on another 2 or so kms to the next
hairpin. At this bend we saw a juvenile Rufous Fantail and a family of
Flame Robins (female, young males, but no adult male). Other birds
along the Road generally were:
Gang-Gangs
King Parrot
Crimson Rosellas
Rufous Whistler
Golden Whistler
White-naped Honeyeater (100s)
Eastern Spinebill
Yellow-faced Honeyeater
Satin Bowerbird
Superb Lyrebird (heard)
YTBCs (heard)
Whipbird (heard)
Striated Thornbill
Brown Thornbill
White-browed Scrubwren
Eastern Yellow Robin
