It flew into my garden (top end of Tyson St, Ainslie) at 12 pm today
and perched at head height on a gutter, shrieking loudly, as the Red
wattlebirds swooped it, squawking. They rapidly drove it into a
neighbour's garden where it was when I took this, sorry, very bad
photo with my tiny camera. Using binoculars, I noticed that she
raised a substantial 'crest' when in close defence. She stayed in one
position for about an hour, constantly monitored by RWBs, almost
appearing to go to sleep, then flew off north with the RWBs following.
