Nice photo Lindsay. It looks like a solitary
native bee to me but I don't know what genus or species. There are no
colonial native bees in our regeon. If you want to be more specific and don't
get a better response I suggest taking or sending it to CSIRO Entomology. Could
you let me know the results if you do.
