I was pleasantly surprised to see a trio of Red-necked Wallabies on Mt
Ainslie last week. They were in dense casuarina scrub just below the summit
road.

Cheers

Was walking on Stromlo this morning and saw two small roos/wallabies that
I’m pretty sure weren’t eastern greys.
I didn’t have my binoculars with me so the views weren’t fantastic.
They were quite small, around half a fully grown eastern greys size had
reddish flanks and rounded ears. Also the markings on the face from the
distance I was from them was quite dark down the ridge of the nose.
Just curious if anyone had an opinion on what they could be or a good field
guide they could point me in the direction of.
