Hello all. From Saturday morning at Newline; I won't bore you with
repeating a predictable list, but I must say it was as bursting with
birds as I've seen it for some time. And though I've not got out there
for a while, I was surprised at how ubiquitous the Peaceful Doves now are.
Campbell Park quiet, but it was the first time I'd seen Little Corellas
there.
And yesterday, on the ANU ovals by Barry Drive, an apparently lone Wood
Duck with 24 chicks! Presumably not all his of course, but I'd be
curious to know the story.
happy birding
Ian
