Howdy All,

I am unsure whether this is of any note or not, but I hadn't seen them before (not that I have looked)..... there were a pair (?) of European Goldfinch at Parkwood "The Garden" nursery this afternoon. Spectacular colour to them, with the red face, black and white markings, and chococolate and gold on the body. Very, very striking, so I had to come home and work out what they were. They're certainly not something I regularly see about the place, but sorry if they're common and I hadn't realised.

Cheers.
