Hi all

Mt Arapiles, where I took this (fuzzy) picture with my point and shoot camera is home to Peregrine Falcons (which I have seen previously). So I thought this one was one, too - until I downloaded my photos to my computer and had a better look.

That rufous patch on the neck was a bit strange, as was the lack of "mottling" on the wings and back.

I've actually never seen a hobby. Is this one?

Sorry for the fuzzyness - at least it's not as fuzzy as my Red-capped Robin.

Thanks

Susanne
