A WBCS heard while walking on the western side of Mt Ainslie this morning, presumably a flyover, we were in rather dense vegetation at the time and didn’t manage to see it. Also seen or heard – Orioles, Rufous and Golden Whistlers, Mistletoebird, Little Eagle, Grey Currawong. Breeding records of one sort or another for Magpie, Noisy Friarbird, Crimson Rosella, Pied Currawong, Buff-rumped Thornbill. Also 5 species of butterfly including Heath Ochre and Imperial Jezabel.

cheers

Steve
