For those interested, there will be the opening of an art
exhibition titled ‘Bird Cry from the Grassy-Box Woodlands’ at
the Goulburn Regional Art Gallery on Saturday
18th October from 11.00am to 4pm.
Guest speakers will include Dr Adrian Manning, Fenner School, ANU, who
will talk on habitats of Grassy-Box Woodland, Sean Dooley celebrated author of
the ‘Big Twitch” will give a bird watching performance and Chris Davey,
President, Canberra Ornithologists Group will talk about endangered birds of
the Grassy-Box woodlands. Get away from the ACT after you have voted but
if you want lunch it will cost you $10.00.
