We visited Bawley Pointt briefly yesterday in a howling gale. The pipits, or pipit family, that we have observed on infrequent visits over many years, were there. Three birds, running on the bare ground between grassy patches. We were very pleased to see them again. Are they known about by local bird watchers? perhaps Bob Rusk knows about them?
