A White-bellied Sea-Eagle frm yesterday has been reported to me by a very reliable observer.  It sounds like it might have gone over my GBS site but I didnt see it: drat!  It is the 117th species recorded in the Carwoola/Hoskintown/Primose Valley area in the past 18 months!

Following Lindsay Hansch's report of migrating honeyeaters earlier in the week I noticed 2 groups of about 25 Yellow-Faced Honeyeaters heading NW over Stony Creek Place where I was jogging at lunchtime today.  (I've called them groups because there was only about 30m between the groups and they might be considered a single 'flock'.)  A bit later in the run I noticed that Pallid Cuckoos were calling everywhere: at one point I was sure I could hear at least 5 birds.

Finally some 20 Tree Martins have finally arrived on Whiskers Creek Rd.  However, as usual they are staying up on the ridge rather than coming down to the Creek.
