There is a wattle bird nest in the wattle overhanging the footpath near the visitors centre at ANBG.  I reported it to the visitors centre to try and protect it.  Also very young wattle bird seen in a bush in the wattle area.  Parents flapping around.  Think it's too young to be out of the nest.
At the ponds At Giralang this morning:  Grey fantail, Clamorous(Australian?) reed warbler, white faced heron, little egret, Swan on a nest at the road end of the ponds, hard heads, black pacific ducks, coot and swamp hens, superb fairy wrens. Willie wagtail and several LBB's!!  Not bad for a Sunday morning dog walk!!
