My eagle-eyed wife spotted
"something unusual" out of the bedroom window this morning, and a brief
burst on the binos confirmed the visitor as a female Rose Robin, with a
distinct rose-coloured fringe across the top of her breast and
demonstrating the familiar droopy-wing syndrome. This is almost exactly
a year since our last visit by a female RR, but last year's bird had no
colour on the breast at all. I wonder if it could still be the same
bird...
