Hi all
I have to skirt the airport to get to work (lucky me) and today traffic was flowing rather nicely, I thought... until I spotted two large birds, one of which was unmistakenly an adult white-bellied sea-eagle gliding from above Pialligo up Molonglo River.
The other one went west, was greyish and I couldn't identify it, because I decided to not crash my car.

On the way home I saw a black-faced cuckoo-shrike in Hannan Cres (Ainslie).

There are some frogmouths occasionally roosting in Canning Street (Ainslie). One was there yesterday morning, roosting on a fence. (report from friends)

Cheers, Susanne
