Two Noisy Friarbirds flew past my place in Robertson around noon.
I never get Friarbirds around this place, as residents, as we have very few Eucalypts or Proteaceae in this district. But they do pass through on migration. These guys were heading south, very fast. There is Sydney Sandstone country 10 Km north of here, and 5 km south. So, these birds were apparently taking a short cut straight over the top of Robertson - heading for Belmore Falls and the Kangaroo Valley.

Cheers
