Further to the postings on breeding Masked Lapwings, I noted today that a lapwing was sitting on exactly the same spot as in the previous three years, in the fenced-off and weed-infested former Page service station. As the pair has been successful in previous years (3 chicks fledged last year) I guess they see no need to change. I am guessing the same birds are involved. b
