I have been thinking of the young peacocks and peahens at Rocky Knoll. Are the ten youngsters still there, or have they 'relocated' as Geoffrey had predicted they would? Will they breed in their first year? Just think, even if only four of the ten are females, if each has ten young as their mother did, that would make 40 young, 50 if mum also bred again. Even if only mum has young that will add another 10 to their number.. The mind boggles.
