There were many Satin Bowerbirds about my place this morning and by following the calling ones, I found an active bower with the bird in it (a green one). The Satin Bowerbird have been in my area for several years but this is the first time I have seen a bower in my GBS area. Although they have been in various parts of Kambah before. Just another example of their establishment. Very easy to find, in my local park, under a pine tree, just about 5 metres from Castley Circuit.
