A very pleasant day trip to Cowra and Conimbla NP last Friday yielded 55 species.  Most prominent were Noisy Friarbirds, perhaps attracted to the few flowering ironbarks.  The highlight was a group of 5 Ground Cuckoo-shrikes on Back Creek Road just south of Seed Paddock TSR about 9 km west of Cowra.  I was surprised to find them this far east, although they are on the Cowra bird routes list.
