I've been seeing good numbers
of Yellow-faced, White-naped and White-eared HEs (as well as a few
Fuscous and the odd White-plumed) up at the Pinnacle pretty
consistently for the last few months. It seems that there are a lot
more honeyeaters overwintering this year than has happened in the past
(well, in the last 4 or 5 years that I know of, anyway).

Hi all,
Some of the summer migrants seem to
be appearing in the suburbs. At the ANBG yesterday I saw lots of
White-naped Honeyeaters and some Yellow-faced Honeyeaters along with
the more wintry suspect Crescent Honeyeaters.
What has happened? Why are they here
so early? Did they just over winter? Its been pretty mild so far.
