A'asian grebes

They have bred there, and in one year or other on at least 5 other dams on
Callum Brae.  However, they are sometimes absent from the reserve.  g

a pair, were seen by me on the old-zoo dam @ Callum Brae on Sunday; have 
never seen em in C B before and certainly not that dam; they disappeared and

stayed out of sight thereafter (swam u'water to deep in the reeds?) so not 
sure if breeding plumage; it was a v spring-like day
