I have seen Hooded Robins on a number of occasions in the ' Brown Treecreeper' habitat both on the left & right hand side of the road. On one occasion I saw 6 HR.
Last Friday when I went birding after school with my grandson along that same road we saw a Brown Goshawk hunting the little ground birds. The goshawk was seen off by 2 magpies. The 6 year old was delighted. He informed me it was like the war games on the gameboys but much better.
This stretch of road can usually be relied on for good birding.
