Hi all,

I spent a charming 1.5 hours at Mt Ainslie this morning from 7:30-9 am.Birds were not very numerous, although there were a number of Yellow-facedHoneyeaters, two Speckled Warblers, thornbills, an accipiter. There was alsoa female robin that confused me initially, calling with a metallic call. Iassumed female Scarlet, but then realised it was a female Rose. I had thoughit was Scarlet as it was quite low down in more open areas, although thelong wings and tail were obvious.
