No doubt some eagle eyed legal eagle who
is familiar with the birds of PNG will make suitable comments on this debacle with
suitable feed back and put their stamp on the flight of the stamps as they are
plucked from circulation.

errors on recent PNG stamp issue
List members concerned with bird matters in our
northern neighbour PNG may be interested in the news that a recent PNG stamp
issue seems to have used the wrong image of a Harpy Eagle (using that of an
American rather than the NG species), and the wrong name for the Osprey. The
errors were pointed out by a keen-eyed young PNG graduate student studying in the
USA.
