An other tough day in the office on Friday.
While working in Weston I had the company of at least 6 Double-barred
Finches constantly flitting in and out of a tall leggy cotoneaster hedge during
the hour and a half I was there.. I'm not sure what the attraction was in
the hedge, but it also got a lot of attention from Superb Fairy Wrens, Weebills,
Thornbills, dozens of Silvereyes, and a male Golden Whistler which gave us a
couple of items from his repertoire.
Cheers
