I was in Deniliquin last November on a Plain Wanderer tour with Phil Maher. He told us the Long-billed Corellas were replacing the Little Corellas.
Also, I go often to Newcastle. About 10 years ago I saw a few Little Corellas near Jesmond shopping Centre. Over the years the number has grown. You can now see them perching on most of the trees and available posts and signs.Their calls form part of the background noise.
