Dear COG members,
A number of you have volunteered for this weekend’s
bird survey of the Lower Sullivans Creek Catchment. However we still need more
experienced bird watchers.
If you are free this Saturday 6-9am,
we are meeting at the ANU, and will reconvene at 9am
for a delicious FREE “thankyou” breakfast.
To participate, you just need to fill in the
registration form on the website and email it back to me asap (by cob Thursday
would be ideal), and read over the document entitled “important
information for volunteers” (outlining where to meet at ANU, what to
bring, survey method etc),

The survey will run on a similar format to last time,
whereby we pair experienced birdwatchers with novice birdwatchers in order to
make this event not only one of data collection for monitoring of bird
populations over time, but also community education.
