Those who saw & commented-on the industrious caterpillars in winter & early spring may recall that they were eventually seen excavating holes/tunnels soil-grain by soil-grain.  The pupae from those tunnels have now hatched into moths flying around grassy areas. (They've a wing-span of about 2 cm)
The moths have intricate patterns in  brown & cream on their wings and bodies striped in orange & dark brown.
