Well  -   2 days out of 3 I give them a handful of ‘Whiskas’, don’t have a cat but I keep a packet for the purpose.  Person next door offers birdseed.  They can sometimes be seen grazing on the reserves.  I suspect they have list of well-wishers who put out something for them.  But you’re right, the combined intake must be getting quite substantial.  They are being reported from several blocks away so the territory is expanding.

How much tucker does this lot go through daily?  Are they entirely self-sufficient?  The could use a smiling tiger at the base of the tree for additional security.

At 6-15 tonight AEST there were 11 peafowl in the usual tree.  The 12th – the sub-adult male – must have been up there somewhere.
