Today was Honeyeater Day + at Jerrabomberra.  Flocks started passing over our house at 11am and were almost continuous until 2pm.  They slackened off a bit from there but with regular flocks passing until 4:40pm with the last passing over at 6:26pm.  In all I estimate numbers, based on flock size (50-80 birds with the largest at about 200) and frequency, at between 10-12,000 birds.  Most were Yellow-faced Honeyeaters.  I did see one Fuscous HE, three Noisy Friarbirds and two small groups of Double-barred Finches traveling with the YFHE.  There was also a Collared Sparrowhawk harassing the flocks but I did not see it catch anything.  Yesterday was relatively quiet with nothing doing until 1pm and then only irregular flocks passing through.
