Marnix inquired as to the exact locations of the Pink-eared & Blue-billed Ducks I saw at Lake Ginninderra yesterday afternoon.

I noticed the Pink-eared Ducks while standing on the shore 25 metres around (in a northerly direction) from the boat-launching ramp at McDermott Place. They were bobbing about at least 40 metres off shore, and I wouldn't have been able to positively identify them without the binoculars. The Blue-billed Ducks were no more than 30 metres from the shore, roughly in line with the boat ramp.

Good hunting – in the benign sense of the _expression_, of course.
