Hi Des

We had three Glossy Blacks pass through our property (traveling west to east), on Taylors Creek Rd, Tarago (east of Lake George) on Sunday.

They spent about twenty minutes in remnant Eucalypt/Casuarina open woodland before flying coastward toward the TSR (open Eucalypt woodland/Themeda dominated grassland) on the corner of Taylors Creek Rd and the Bungendore Rd.

Apparently this is a long standing 'migration route' and they are known (very) occasional visitors: this is only my second sighting in eight years.

It will be interesting to see what happens with the development of the Capital Wind Farm...

Dunc
