This afternoon, while wandering along Sullivans Creek opposite Burghman College and its neighbouring residential colleges, we saw six pairs of Gang-gangs at different locations. They were, all of them, feeding in casaurinas. I mention this because I remember people asking about Gang-gang sightings in the recent past. Incidentally, over the past few years, trees behind those residences, late on winter afternoons, seem to be a  marshalling point for Gang-gangs that generally proceed north-east.

Linda went photographing cute little Pacific Black Duckie-wuckies, slipped, slid and went in over her knees. Although she swims like an otter, my heart was in my mouth because she was toting my venerable and beloved Nikon F1. Never mind, she hoisted the tripod-mounted F1 over her head and waded out of Sullivans Soup like a long-haired US Marine broaching the beach at Iwo Jima.
