I counted six young (are they called goslings?) Magpie geese at Tidbinbilla today.  From my reading on the subject from the web, certain authorities claim that they no longer breed outside the Northern Territory. That calls for a rewrite! The small colony at Tidbinbilla seems to be well established.  In this photograph 5 young can be seen in a convoy.  Another grouping of three adults escorted a single youngster.
