As of today, 107 datasheets have been received from the
27-28 October bird blitz, covering 55 grid cells, from 29 named participants.
150 bird species have been recorded, including Bar-tailed Godwit and Red-backed
Kingfisher but sadly, no Painted Snipe. Breeding records for 63 species. I
shall be collecting datasheets at the next COG meeting on 14 November but if
you can’t make it there and still have sheets outstanding, please mail
them to COG, PO Box 301,
