Bar-t Gw there this morning, feeding busily.  Also, among other stuff, 2 Freckled Ducks, non-breeding.

Rhonda and I visited Kelly’s Swamp yesterday in an attempt to find the Long-toed Stint and Bar-tailed Godwit.  We found what we initially thought were the LTS’s (a pair) at the southern end of the swamp but closer examination revealed that they were Sharp-tailed Sandpipers (see photo).  While we were studying them we flushed what we think was the Godwit which flew north along the western side of the swamp before landing and disappearing into the long grass.
