Well it seems everyone got back safely from behind locked gates – whew! Though sorry to hear about pulled muscle, Stuart. And it is good to hear that most of you had a good time and some at least had exciting finds. I’ve had a delightful two days, nosing around The Pinnacle, Lake Ginninderra, Tidbinbilla and Coppins Crossing. Especially at Gibraltar Rocks, numbers were down on last year, but as always there were memorable moments. The Red-capped Robins from “Finch Central” have moved on down to the river and were showing off. Some interesting breeding records, including Tawny Frogmouth (on and dy at The Pinnacle) White-winged Triller nb (Pinnacle) White-eared Honeater dy (Tidbinbilla).  Thank you to everyone who participated. I look forward to receiving the datasheets SOON please. Mail to COG, PO Box 301 Civic Square; or bring to the next COG meeting. b
