Further to Chris Hastir's bowerbird sighting in Wanniassa.

I live in Sullivan Cres up from Longmore.

3 or so months ago saw at least 4 Satin Bowerbirds in park at top of Sullivan Cres.

Since then a female has been visiting my garden every now and then.

About 3 weeks ago walking the dog at 10am or so heard a commotion in a tree off Harbison Cres below my house. Male and female Satins. Watched them for a few mins and then another male arrived and the 2 males chased off somewhere.

Have seen the female in garden since. Probably the same as the one Chris has seen.

This area is infested with Currawong's so a Satin Bowerbird is a pleasant change.

Its possibly nesting. Whether that nesting will survive the Currawong plague is problematic.
