This morning in Black Mountain Nature Reserve:
. Australian Hobby (on). The male brought in a Budgerigah and began plucking it. While the budgie appeared to be close to a natural (perhaps a bit more yellow than a natural), I assume that it was an aviary escapee. What price freedom?
. My first Dollarbird of the year for Black Mountain NR.
. A pair of King Parrots, with the female (ih). I don't think they are breeding yet but they do appear to be looking for a possie.
   . A Magpie-lark chasing a Sacred Kingfisher.
