I observed a single Black-tailed Native Hen this morning across the bank from the very far hide (Kingston end) . Yesterday Frank Antram and I observed the 3 birds at Uriarra homestead dam so this is very likely to be a 4th bird for the ACT.

Also of interest this morning 10 Black-winged Stilts, 1 Great Egret, 3 Sharp-tailed Sandpipers, 3 Red-kneed Dotterels, 1 Baillons Crake, 2 Black-fronted Dotterel, 1 Glossy Ibis  and 2 Lathams Snipe. A couple of breeding records too, with Chestnut Teal (10 ducklings) and Purple Swamphen (1 chick).

Cheers
Alastair
