My sister, in Perth, sent a newspaper cutting about a rufous owl,
which normally lives in tropical rainforests in northern Australia,
that had escaped from the Eagles Heritage Wildlife Centre in Margaret
River WA in 2003, being found at Bridgetown, 200km away. It was in
the main street, clutching a magpie that it had killed.
