One flew through my GBS site (Grid K18) at around 7.45 this morning. This is the first time I have recorded the species from either my GBS site or from the wider area of the southern part of Gordon. I know they have been recorded from Kambah eg the 2005/06 ABR, but this is possibly a range-extension almost to the edge of suburbia - although maybe it was an aviary escapee or just passing through. It will be interesting to see if I or other observers in this area get repeat sightings over time.
